Faculty Partnerships

International collaboration is common throughout the University with many faculty members bringing their international research and cooperation into the classroom. Through such international cooperation, course content and learning experiences are enriched for both faculty and students. Partnering with scholars or practitioners from diverse backgrounds can bring additional enlightenment to the classroom. Even the input of those from different fields can prove valuable to discussion of cross-disciplinary issues.

For those FDU faculty members who want to take advantage of partnership opportunities through the Office of Global Partnerships or the Office of Global Learning, there are several options.

Partner with visiting faculty

Having international scholars on our campuses enriches the educational and research opportunities for both our faculty and students. FDU faculty interested in hosting an international scholar at FDU are encouraged to do so. Visiting scholars' activities should reflect a designed research program in which the visitor will work closely with the FDU colleague. For assistance and/or more information please contact I.R. Isquith at isquith@fdu.edu or x2392 in the Office for Global Partnerships.
