Student Opportunities

Global education is a way of life for students at Fairleigh Dickinson University. We are dedicated to providing our students with the knowledge and understanding of culture, language, geography, and global perspectives necessary to be engaged global citizens. Since the learning environment extends beyond the classroom, the Office of Global Learning works to present opportunities which may enhance our students' education and provide enriching experiences locally and around the world.

Students can choose to study at our Wroxton campus or one of our partner institutions across the globe, pursue advanced research opportunities through the Fulbright Student Program or other national fellowships and grants, or take advantage of global experiences closer to home through interaction with our over 900 international students from 73 nations or participation in FDU's United Nations Club. Our academic and co-curricular programs provide students with the opportunity to live and learn in a global environment. Some students pursue academic majors or coursework focusing on global issues, while others choose to participate in unique international, multicultural residential experiences such as our Global Scholars (Metropolitan Campus) and Florham Scholars (College at Florham)

Our unique relationship with the United Nations provides students with extraordinary possibilities. Through the UN Pathways Program, students can attend interactive lectures or have dinner with UN ambassadors. For the most dedicated students, there is even the possibility of a United Nations internship.
