Study Abroad

Study abroad is an important component to the global learning experience. Living and learning in an international setting allows students to develop a better understanding of different cultures and perspectives and to build their intercultural communication skills. These skills are important parts of the global education FDU strives to provide to its students.

The study abroad experience can consist of short intersession seminars or entire semesters or academic years abroad. Several opportunities for long- or short-term study are available to students interested in studying outside the US. The University has established study-abroad programs and partnerships with institutions in Taiwan, Japan, India, Spain, China, Turkey, Poland and Switzerland, to name only a few places.

FDU’s Study Abroad Office is available to provide information and guidance on study abroad opportunities. For further information on study abroad opportunities contact Brian Swanzey, Director of Study Abroad at brian_swanzey@fdu.edu or visit the Study Abroad website.
